American Direct Inc. is seeking a full-time prepress technician for its Baltimore, MD facility. If you have experience in the printing industry, XMF and Adobe - We want to talk to you!
A prepress technician is responsible for receiving and reviewing art, making PDF and hard copy proofs, laying out jobs to print and making plates using a variety of Adobe and other graphic arts specific software. The ideal candidate is proficient with general prepress processes including preflight, proofing and platemaking.
The position is for day shift. Occasional call-ins and flexibility in schedule is required in this position.
American Direct Inc. provides full benefits after 90 days of successful work demonstration, including health, dental, vision, STD, Life, 401K, life insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays.

Preps
Understanding of:
Digital Prepress Procedures
Platemaking
Proofing both soft and hard copy
